This Christmas Make Homemade Chocolate Cake without Eggs!

Ingredients list – 

  • 1 cup = 240 ml 
  • 1 1/2 cup of flour ( maida) 
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt 
  • 1 cup of sugar 
  • 1/4 cup of cocoa powder 
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda 
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar 
  • 1/2 cup water ( Or use milk instead)
  • 1/3 cup melted butter or oil  

Ingredients for chocolate sauce 

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup of milk  
  • 4-6 tablespoons of sugar 
  • 1 spoon vanilla extract 

 Now, steps for making a recipe for egg-less chocolate cake - 

  • Set aside a 7-8 inch of the cake pan and grease it with oil or butter. 
  • Preheat an oven at 170 degrees for at least 15 minutes. 
  • Take a mixing bowl and place a sieve over it. 
  • Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. 
  • Mix all the ingredients with a spoon and sieve at least 3 times. 
  • Add sugar and mix it well. 
  • Pour the water, oil or melted butter, vanilla extract, and vinegar or lemon juice. 
  • Mix them well until it is well-combined. 
  • Remember the cake barter has to be properly mixed, it should be lump-free and smooth. Do not over mix. 
  • Now, transfer the batter into a greased cake pan. 
  • Tap the cake pan to settle the batter smoothly and equally. 

Baking process – 

  • Place the cake pan into the oven for 23-25 minutes. 
  • Remember, timing may vary, it all depends upon the oven and heating temperature. 
  • When the cake is done, check it by using toothpick by inserting inside the baked cake. If it comes out clean, then the cake is properly baked. In case, it doesn’t come out clean then you may bake the cake again for 10-15 minutes. 
  • Cool the cake in the pan for 15 minutes. 
  • Cool the cake pan completely before frosting or slicing. 

Steps to make the chocolate frosting or sauce. 

  • Take milk, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and sugar put them in the bowl, and mix it well. 
  • The mixture must be lump-free and smooth. 
  • Now, keep the mixture in the gas, from low to medium flame and stir it continuously to make a thick sauce. 
  • Keep stirring until it turns smooth and thick. 
  • Now, pour this into the egg-less chocolate cake and spread it with a spatula. 
  • Slice the egg-less vanilla cake and serve it onto a plate.
