Top Sunday Night Football Games To Watch

The NFL season is not far away from starting. We are currently in the middle of training camp and preseason games are about to begin. Teams are trying to figure out what their lineups and depth charts are going to look like come Week 1 of the 2022 NFL regular season though.

There are so many primetime games to look forward to during the NFL regular season, especially Sunday night football. NFL week 10 odds will be out when the time comes, but that is going to be a while. What are some of the Sunday night football games to look forward to this season?

Kansas City Chiefs vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

On Sunday, October 2nd, this will be a rematch of Super Bowl LV. Patrick Mahomes vs Tom Brady might be two of the most marketable quarterbacks in the entire NFL. There is so much offensive firepower on both sides. However, the question on both teams will be this season how good will the offensive lines be though.

All analysts will be talking about who is the better quarterback: Patrick Mahomes or Tom Brady. This was the case when they played each other before the Super Bowl a couple of seasons ago. This is something for casual sports fans to debate and discuss.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Baltimore Ravens

On Sunday, October 9th, the class of the AFC North will face off against each other though. Cincinnati finished in first last season and Baltimore finished in last place last season, but the projections are that the Bengals and the Ravens will be the two best teams in the AFC North this season and some people believe that both of these football teams will be in the playoffs.

The Cincinnati Bengals were in the Super Bowl a season ago and the Baltimore Ravens have not been there since 2012-2013. The battle of Joe Burrow vs Lamar Jackson is going to be a very electrifying quarterback match-up across the NFL. One of the things to watch for in this one is that wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase for the Bengals torched their secondary in both games last season.

Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles

On Sunday, October 16th, the battle of the NFC East will happen though. A lot of people believe that either the Dallas Cowboys or the Philadelphia Eagles will win the NFC East. Dallas won it last year and Philadelphia has the talent to win the division this season.

Dak Prescott vs Jalen Hurts will be the quarterback match-up in this one. It is all about who will win the game in the trenches. Dallas will love to run the football with Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard and Philadelphia will love to run the football with Miles Sanders. The NFC East is not a strong division, but this primetime match-up could be very good.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Denver Broncos

This will take place on Sunday, December 11th. At this point in the NFL season, it is very possible that first place in the AFC West is potentially on the line as also playoff positioning as a wild card team in the AFC. The AFC West could be the most unpredictable division to predict for the upcoming 2022 NFL regular season though.

The battle of Patrick Mahomes vs Russell Wilson is going to be a game where teams trade punches and not much defense might be played here. Kansas City is the class of the AFC and Denver is looking to get back to the playoffs and they have not been there since winning Super Bowl L against the Carolina Panthers. The Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos will be in primetime quite a bit this season.

Los Angeles Rams vs Los Angeles Chargers

This is going to take place on New Year’s Day in 2023. It is the battle of Los Angeles at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The Los Angeles Rams may have the NFC West title won by then, but the Los Angeles Chargers could potentially be fighting for their playoff lives for either the AFC West or the AFC wild card though.
