Must-See: Intense Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir Clash After Thrilling LSG vs RCB IPL
Monday’s IPL 2023 face-off between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore took a heated turn when RCB’s superstar batter, Virat Kohli, and LSG’s mentor, Gautam Gambhir, engaged in a tense exchange.
Throughout the electrifying match, Kohli’s animated reactions were hard to miss, especially as LSG wickets tumbled. Recalling the previous LSG vs RCB encounter in Bengaluru, Gambhir had silenced the crowd with a ‘shut up’ gesture, leaving fans speculating whether Kohli’s actions were a response. Although the two initially shook hands after the match, a confrontation erupted when LSG opener Kyle Mayers approached Kohli.
Gambhir intervened, pulling Mayers away, but not before the tension escalated. Cameras captured a visibly animated Gambhir exchanging words with a relatively composed Kohli. Teammates and support staff, including KL Rahul, eventually separated the duo. Kohli then engaged in a lengthy conversation with LSG captain Rahul.
