DC Multiverse shattered in ‘The Flash’ Super Bowl trailer featuring two Ezra Millers, Michael Keaton’s Batman, and Supergirl

New footage from “The Flash” movie shows Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton as two different versions of Batman, along with other characters from the DC Universe.

Ahead of the Super Bowl, Warner Bros. has shared new footage of the upcoming DC Comics film “The Flash.” The movie stars Ezra Miller as Barry Allen, a character he first portrayed in a cameo role in 2016’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” The trailer shows Allen crashing into the multiverse and meeting another version of himself, as well as two different Batmen, played by Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton. Additionally, the trailer features the return of Michael Shannon’s General Zod from “Man of Steel” and the debut of Sasha Calle’s Supergirl.

Kiersey Clemons, Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Antje Traue, and Maribel Verdú are part of the cast for “The Flash.” The latest trailer has been released amidst controversy surrounding the lead actor Ezra Miller, who has faced multiple legal issues in the past year. Miller has been arrested twice in Hawaii, pleaded no contest to an assault charge, and taken a plea deal for unlawful trespassing. They have also been accused of choking one woman in an Icelandic bar and harassing another woman in her Berlin home.

“The Flash” will have a crucial part in DC’s cinematic universe as a prelude to James Gunn and Peter Safran’s fresh strategy for the franchise.

Andy Muschietti, famous for directing “It” and its follow-up, is directing the movie, and the screenplay is by Christina Hodson, with Michael Disco and Barbara Muschietti producing.

The film will be released on June 16th, so be sure to check out the official trailer below.
