3 Travel Deal Sites for Finding an Incredible Discount on Airfare

Did you know that the average American spends around $2,000 on summer vacations?

Don’t worry, though, there are affordable options as well for those who are on a budget. If anything, you just need to know where to look.

For example, there are apps that you can use to find discount airfare. There are also travel deal sites, which offer various types of discounts.

Interested? Looking for some cheap flights or airfare deals for your next trip? If so, you’re on the right page.

We’ll be sharing some of the best sites to use below. Keep reading to find out what they are!

1. Expedia

Expedia is an online travel service that allows you to book flights, hotels, car rentals, and cruises. Not only are the prices cheaper than other sites, but they also offer bundles, which provide additional savings.

For example, you can get a discount if you bundle your flight with your hotel.

Keep in mind, however, that not all packages come with free parking so you may have to make arrangements ahead of time (e.g. you might have to pay for parking at Newark airport if you’re traveling out of that area).

They also have a rewards program for those who travel frequently. For every dollar spent on hotels, cars, and packages, you’ll earn two reward points.

You’ll also earn an additional point for every $5 spent on flights. Every 140 points will then give you $1 off your next trip.

2. Booking.com

Booking.com offers discounts on flights, hotels, and car rentals. Depending on what you choose, you can save up to 50 percent.

They also offer a lifetime loyalty program called Genius, which you can use to unlock various travel rewards. The concept is simple; the more stays you book, the more rewards you’ll get.

There are three tiers: Genius Level 1 (10 percent discount), Genius Level 2 (10-15 percent discount), and Genius Level 3 (10-20 percent). Not only will it save you money on the price of your stay, but you may also get additional perks such as free breakfast and room upgrades.

3. Scott’s Cheap Flights

Scott’s Cheap Flights is a little different from other budget travel websites in that it doesn’t let you search for specific flights. Rather, it’s an email subscription service.

When it detects a major change in flight prices, the site will send you an email with information about the routes, as well as an estimate for how long the price will last. More often than not, you’ll have a couple of days to book.

While the site itself is free-to-use, they do offer a premium membership for those who want more frequent emails.

Taking Advantage Of Travel Deal Sites

And there you have it—three travel deal sites for those who are looking to save some money! Why pay full price when you can get a discount, right?
